When I think of Lahore the first thing that comes to my mind is Badshahi mosque and praying inside the mosque is one of the best things I have done in Lahore.
Badshahi Mosque is considered to be the Lahore Most iconic landmark it was built in Mughal Era by Emperor Aurangzeb in 1673. The Mask is located west of Lahore Fort along with the walled city of Lahore.

Along with the Badshahi mosque there are a lot of historical architectures surrounding the mosque. Lahore Fort is one of them.
The Badshahi Mosque is not just a Mosque but is a symbol of historical development of the Mughal Era.
You can not only pray in Badshahi Mosque but the mosque also has an a small Museum inside where manuscripts of the Quran centuries ago are reserved, belongings of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and historical equipment used by Islamic rulers also there.

Lahore Fort:

Lahore Fort is opposite to the Badshahi mosque it is spread over 20 hectares. Lahore fort was built in 1566 during the reign of Emperor Akbar. With later development in the Shahjahan period and more development was done in the reign of Aurangzeb Alamgir.
Lahore fort was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1981 due to its reflection of Mughal architectural knowledge.

Wagah border connects Lahore and Amritsar off India. If this is your first time visiting Lahore then there are a lot of security checks taken.

As soon as you enter the army Museum Lahore the first thing you will see is the Indian captured tanks from the war of 1965 and 1971. When you enter the main building of the army Museum you will see slabs on both sides on which names of Shuhada-e-Pakistan are engraved from 1947 till to date.

Then there are names of the chief of army staff of Pakistan army from 1947 till today, Portraits of Quaid-e-Azam, Lord Mountbatten, Fatima Jinnah, lady Mountbatten, Liakat Ali Khan, and many prominent leaders are also in the army Museum Lahore.
There is also a gallery that portraits Indian interference in East Pakistan and how they helped Bangladesh became a separate country in 1971.

Masjid Wazir Khan:

Masjid Wazir Khan construction started in 1634 and was completed in 1641 it is also on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.

The mosque is located in the walled city of the Lahore along the southern side of Royal Road. It is on the west side of Delhi Gate where Shahi Hamam is located.
It is among the list of most marvelous structural designs in the reign of Mughal emperor Shahjahan. The mosque is not only painted with the abstract design but there are also verses of the holy Quran written inside and outside the mosque in Urdu we known this as Kashi-Kari.

Minar e Pakistan:

Minar-e-Pakistan is a symbol of Lahore and how a Pakistani can forget this place who played an important role in the independence of Pakistan. It is the place where all India Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution on 23 March 1940 and the tower was built between 1960 and 1980 to on the place.

Minar-e-Pakistan Tower is approximately 62 meters tall and reflects the Mughal Islamic and modern architectural design. It is among the most popular tourist destinations of Lahore and also it is the national tower of Pakistan.

The slides of Waterpark are so big and scary. It’s almost all a four-stories building and if you are on the slide for the first time then you will be scared a lot.

Jahangir tomb:

Jahangir tomb in the 17th-century building built for Mughal Empire Jahangir. It was built in 1637 in Lahore along the banks of river Ravi. The Tomb is famous for its extensive use of marble and highly decorated walls. It is also currently on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

There is not just Tom at the site but encircled with Gardens’ marvelous exterior and interior designs. At the center of the tomb is a Gondal chamber carved with marble in which there are remains of Mughal Emperor Jahangir below the center part. The interior of the Tomb is fully equipped with marbles, 99 names of Allah and various duas and Hadith.
The Tomb of Jahangir is surrounded by the vast Gardens. The Gardens are separated into four squares by walkways and water channels.
The water channels enhances the front look of the tom and as soon as you enter the Tomb you will see a lot of calligraphy on the walls of the tomb, the floor of the wall are also equipped with white marbles which enhances the beauty of the inside of the tomb.

Grand Jamia mosque:

Grand Jamia mosque the third largest mosque in Pakistan and the 14th largest mosque in the world located in Bahria Town Lahore. It was inaugurated on 6 October 2014 and has a capacity of 70,000 people.
The architectural design of Grand Jamia mosque was influenced by Badshahi Masjid Wazir Khan Masjid and Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

It is one of the most beautiful Mosques you will ever see in Pakistan. It is a combination of architectural design combined with the Mughal Era and the modern era.
The theme of the Jamia Grand mosque is red which looks stunning from the outside and in night when the lights are turned on it looks even more astonishing.
